Hmm.... interesting ....
I've never had that feeling specifically, but that interpretation
seems to fit the film! But I think you got the idea from the Mad
magazine "The Planet That Went Ape."

No, but from the content (so to speak) of your posts, I've assumed that

But the moral of the movie is that the apes were right -- Taylor's
view of humanity at the start of the movie was exactly the same as
Zaius's, but he rebelled against it after seeing ape society, only
to come around to it again at the end.
