400 is sometimes used on tv test patterns, but I've never heard it as a
pop, and not a tuning 440 (or a more aggressive modern 444 "A").
1k is most often used.
Another approach is to pop at 1k for the 8-through-3 frames, and then 2k
(an octave higher) to make the 2 frame 'final'. I've heard that on a lot
of TV mixes.
