I was at Best Buy tonight, and noticed that Madacy has re-released two of their
Chaplin DVD's in a box set, and guess what- they're in white boxes that look
suspiciously similar to the new ones from Warner Home Video.

Does this mean every Chaplin DVD that's ever released from now on will have to
be in a white box with Chaplin's picture on it?

Actually, those came out months ago. I think WB did a terrible job of
art design for the boxes - granted, they don't have the "Super deluxe
limited gold platinum edition director's restored cut" look that
almost every other dvd out there has, but they just look cheap, or
Madacy/Delta like.

Not only do they look cheap, they feel cheap too. Unlike most sets of
this kind, the Chaplin box is made of light gauge paper-like cardboard
that slithers and wobbles around as soon as one or more titles are
removed. Basically, it's the same material used in the individual
title slip and inner cases.
