I expect this has been asked before but would anyone like to nominate any
titles for this dubious honour?
A friend of mine has just bought a gi-normous plasma TV and I thought it
might be amusing (for me, at least) to give her something almost totally
unwatchable as an Xmas pressy. OK, so I've got a warped sense of humour :-)

Red Planet was pretty dire. But!... if you can find a reeeeeally hidden gem,
called "Dead City" on DVD, then you will have the perfect gift for your
needs. Its highlight is a zombie ninja cyborg killing machine doing a series
of cartwheels, backflips, and somersaults, to eventually stop, figit around
a bit to find a gun, and then shoot a cardboard target with amazing
accuracy. Amazing. The dialogue is class A too. With lines such as...
"Me and those 5 c.v.a.'s up there, are gonna hunt this bastard down, and rip
his f**kin heart out... ..and that's the way it is baby... so how'd you
like that?"
The picture quality is something close to, but not entirely up, to betamax,
or vhs quality so it should at least be at its' best on a plasma screen..
the bigger the better, as the compression is particularly lossy.
Many a night has been spent in absolute stitches trying to make it through
some of the scenes, just too much... way way too much for mortal man.
Brilliantly awful 10 out of 10!
Happy hunting! ; ) >> Stay informed about: Worst film ever |
