Just read a post from 2004 while researching.. It was a preliminary
review of the 1st generation stereoline eng set. It was mentioned
that there is a option in a diagnostic menu on the Rx that allows you
to check to see if any dropouts occured. A feature that offers an
after the fact signal solidarity check. Seems handy. I've owned a
unit for years. Never knew. Anyone Using this feature? If so, howsit
done?

Hold the up and down arrow keys while you are powering up. This will
open an extended menu. Keep hitting the menu button until you come to
a screen with a letter followed by 8 zeros. Each group of 4 zeros
shows the error correction occurring on each side of the diversity
receiver. When the letter increments it shows a fatal error has
occurred.
