Can Anybody tell me the audio quality ( real life experience ) of the
internal recording feature of the new Zaxcom Stereo ENG ( trx-900A )?
I have a 744T and could use a stereo Hop to camera? I might swap the
744 for that? Also, if i have block 21 Lectros ( 3x UCR-411 ) which
block should i take for the Zaxcom???

I use them all the time. The recorded audio is identical to the
transmitted audio. Just used it yesterday when a scene at a trail
head rapidly moved 1/2 mile down the trail chasing a sunset. No time
to move the cart, so the last 2 takes were out of radio range so I
just played them back through the transmitter when my boom guy
returned. The director is still trying to figure out how we got the
scene. lol, while the crew was down the trail I was changing a flat
on my car :-) Multi-tasking.

Dont have zaxcom recorder units but keep the sender at least 2 blocks from
your recievers , also use external filtering antenna

The recording specs are 24bit /48kHz and is recorded pre-transmission.
Recorded files can be either WAV for backup (or primary) audio, or MP3
files for scripting / transcription.

Transmission audio quality is better than any other wireless on the
market as it is digital modulation. Range is as good as any analog
wireless. With the stereo input adapter and stereo ENG receiver on
camera, you have a very compact, power efficient 2 channel system.

Keep the Zaxcom at least one block away from you Lectros and use the
filtered clip on transmitter antenna.
