If that is your baseline for fairness, then it is not clear to me on
what basis you claim to have been treated unfairly here. As far as I
can tell, you are treated pretty much like everyone else. If people make
fun of you for making a fool of yourself more often than they do to others,
that is because you make a fool of yourself more often than others do, not
because you are being treated any differently.

'Instant reform' and 'future reform' are two different things.
I haven't referred to you in such terms since 'smee'
invoked Godwin's law, and that was several days ago.
Even when I wrote what you snipped, I had already had
opportunities to repeat the comparison in question,
but did not, because I had already reformed.
The basic issue here is your overbearing nature, which
invites such immoderate comparisons. Beware, lest
someday someone compares you to the Soviet KGB.
Then you wont have Godwin's law to defend you. >> Stay informed about: actors replaced when/after shooting starts |

And why wasn't Johnny Mack Brown in uniform, hmnn? Probably because he
was a mite to sesquipedalian around the middle.

Fairness does not enter sports. They do hope for at least a neutral ref,
but if a bogus fifty yard interference call goes their way, they will
not turn down the penalty.
A great commnetator, Michael Kinsley, upbraided the bush league for
hypocrisy in the 2000 election; they had geared their law guns to
contest the election based upon Dubyah winning the popular vote and
losing the electoral. Their arguments would've been geared around the
popular will. When they lost the popular vote, they swung aroung to take
up precisely the opposite argument.
But, lookit. Donovan McNabb is hit in the backfield the first offensive
down in the playoffs against New England one year, but he recovers,
sprints back to his left, heaves a long one downfield. But did his knee
touch the ground back there?
Who throws the red flag will depend on the result of the play. A long
gain, the Patriots want the replay. An interception, which is what
happened, and the Eagles want the review. (It was reviewed, and McNabb
was ruled down by contact.)
Who has an investment in fairness? The rep of the ref might depend on
it, but none of the contestants would be upset at any bad call that goes
their way.

How about the Jun Horde?
Captures the spirit of your characterization well, I think, and has
thread tie-in:
Tanya Roberts replaced Demi Moore.
Rip Torn replaced Klaus Kinski.
Unfortunately, for thread appropriateness, in both cases long before
shooting began; in fact I don't think either first choice was actually
even signed.
However, and I think here we have a winner, a bear _did_ replace a
tiger after shooting began, for one sequence, because a child actor was
involved and the bear was apparently judged less dangerous. >> Stay informed about: actors replaced when/after shooting starts |

Not that I care particularly, but for your edification, a retraction
refers to an attempt to make up for a past action, while reform refers
to a plan to change one's actions in the future. Just imagine how much
easier it would have been for you to have said that you agreed that
