Post subject: audio recording software for Macs
Archived from groups: rec>arts>movies>production>sound (more info?)

Hi everyone,

My husband is a profession voice over talent and TV broadcaster from
China. We have recently moved to the US and we are setting up a small
studio for him here. I just got him a new powerbook and would like
some suggestions on good, but easy to use, audio recording and editing
software.

He also produces tv shows and he is currently using Final Cut. It has
a voiceover function for his film projects, but I want an independent
audio program.

Also... does anyone know what is a good brand of mic that he could
use?

I would appreciate any help and suggestions.
