I'd be curious if anyone has used and evaluated one.
I too find Rycote's prices a little high.

That is the beauty of market economics. If a company tries to charge
too high prices, other companies will chime in and offer alternative
solutions at lower prices. Sometimes using different technical
solutions which might even give better results. All that is needed
after that is for the users to buy the cheaper stuff.

Personally I will keep on buying Rycote for what it is worth.

In the US the same Rycote product cost 90-100? The Micover after
shipping is $70-$75.
As far as the modular systems I got 2 k-teks for right around what 1
Rycote modular system costs. The Rycote are easier to use imho.

i emailed the people at Micover because their website says $5
shipping, but when you go to paypal it says $12.95. they are working
on a fix, so the total price is $65
