if it's the same special edition available in Italy since 2003 (5.1
audio, reconstruction of deleted scenes with some stillstands,
interviews with Lynch and the actors - 1 and 1/2 hour, more or less -
etc), well, i'd wait a bit...

i ordered the region 1 special ed which also has lynch interviews and stuff.
