Where's the bait in this film? The setup did work fairly well (the
fortune teller and 'It's like a line from our script') but that's not
enough to hold me for another TWO hours! Show me something as
beautiful as Laura Harring leading Naomi Watts through a garden at
night. If youl deny me the intense beauty of film what do I get in
return? Unbounded artistic expression? Hurray for that, but,

Post subject: i totally agree

though i've only seen the film once, it's sitting on my harddrive right now and i have no intention of seeing it again. yes, cinematically it was intriguing... but there was a serious lack of symbolic color, if that makes any sense... best way i can describe it.

mulholland drive on the other hand.... whoa boy!
