One is a black & white movie in which a man goes to South America, (I think)
where he meets an insane (or evil) scientist who has discovered a white blob
like fungus in a giant cavern. From time to time, the scientist forces some
of the local Indians who live in that area to go into that cave where the
fungus infects them and turns them into zombies.

Another is a color movie (low budget) where a scientist is experimenting on
a way to turn a human being into some kind of creature. At first he is
experimenting on a former assistant of his. All we see of him is that he is
immersed in a bath filled with steam (like from dry ice) and the scientist
occasionally feeds him a turtle. When a woman finds out what he's doing,
she spoils the experiment by killing his assistant, so he retaliates by
putting HER in that tub.

In the end, she emerges, fully changed. Green, bug-eyed, and apparently
played at that point by a male actor. She gets her revenge by picking up
the scientist, carrying him to a pool filled with alligators, drops him in,
and jumps in with him to commit suicide.

Finally, there is a black & white movie whose idea is similar to the second
one. A scientist is experimenting with changing a woman into a creature
which he hopes will replace human-kind. I think that through-out the movie,
he changes her into this creature more than once. The creature has long
hair, and it's skin seems to be covered with armored plates.

In the end, I think that as a creature, she kills the scientist, and escapes
somewhere, and in the end, we see her in a pit. I know that this movie
ISN'T "The She Creature".

Can you name them? Thanks in advance.

The first one is The Unknown Terror, 1957, using soap suds for the fungus
monster.

I'm having trouble with 2 and 3, there aren't many female monsters, other
than Voodoo Woman, Weird Woman, Leech Woman, Wasp Woman, etc., and they
don't sound like any of those.

The second one sounds like Curse of the Swamp Creature (1966) (TV)
Directed by Larry Buchanan

There's also The Incredible She Monster. However, she is totally unrelated
to
the plots listed. I just didn't want her to feel slighted.

I think that's "The Astounding She Monster". :-) You guys are right
about the other two titles. Thanks.

How about this one. It black and white, and takes place aboard a rocket in
space. Only one of the crew is an alien in human form. He represents
a race of aliens who want humans to stay out of space. He seems to
have the power to astrally project his soul out of his body (maybe he
has taken over a human body, I don't remember. At one point, he
confronts a human crewmember with his true identity and mission,
and offers that crewman a chance to join him. The crewman refused
saying "You can keep your abstract alien philosophies", so the alien
placed his hand over the mans heart and killed him.

In another scene, the alien received a series burn on his hand from
a blowtorch and another crewmen went to get a medic, but while
he was gone, the alien rubbed his burned hand and healed it by
the time the medic got there. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I believe that one is set on a Caribbean island. I saw it in my youth. I
remember bunches of natives walking around singing "You must suffer to be
born again" -- always with perfect pitch and timing, of course. ;-)

Right -- never slight a she-monster. And let the Wookie win. <g>

I'm fairly sure that's "Spacemaster X-7". It's set aboard a space station
that at some point is going to run into some barrier the aliens set up. The
key question is whether they'll have stored up enough power to survive.

The alien on the station can duplicate the form of a human, but the
duplicate body has no feeling. By the time the one witness to the blowtorch
incident gets back with someone else, the alien has rubbed the burned flesh
off the hand and it looks normal again.

Ok so, does "War Of The Satellites" match the description above?

"War Of The Satellites" is absolutely the movie in which the blowtorch scene
takes place. The injured man rubs his hand a few times after a severe burn,
and voila, all better.

That's CURSE Of The Swamp Creature, daddyo. BTW, I have corresponded
with Larry Buchanan and he is nowhere near the "kook" he has been made
out to be by certain smarmy critics. Like many of the dissed directors
from the era, he knew full well he wasn't making classics--just doing
the best he could with the restrictions place upon him (e.g. budget,
time limit).
