Here's my 2 cents:

The Matrix => Microsoft: almost all domainating.
Zion & it's citizens => Apple Users: small but loyal.
Matrix Battery Cells => Microsoft Users: most of whom are afraid of change.
Smith => Blaster Worm: caused major headaches for Microsoft.
Neo => Symantec/Akamai: brought in by Microsoft to stop their worm problem.
Trinity => Norton Live Update: keeps Neo going with the latest definitions.
Morpheus => Steve Jobs: head of apple, spokesman, little action.
Oracle => Google: all knowing up to the choice of links to pick.
Merchevinoneblah (sp?) => Ebay.com: place where you can get everything.
Pershephone => Playboy.com: no words needed.
The Key Master => Verisign Certificates: can get you access to areas.
To be concluded caption at the end of Reloaded => Blue-Screen-Of-Death.
Matrix Rebooting at the end => Microsoft Restore process running.

The Merovingian = Carnivore, the government's information soaking database

The Trainman = the secret police that does Carnivore's dirty work

That's the seventh matrix, of course. Time will tell if they get it
right this time.

Still trying to rebuild a stable kernel while trying to convince everyone
else of how much better it is.

I guess The One would be the Open Source advocate. Too bad he died. The
ominous parallel here is that Linux will die too... but only of its own
volition.
