Hi everyone

I'm looking for a television series from the late seventies/early eighties
called "The Amazing Years Of Cinema". It was presented by Douglas Fairbanks
Jnr and each half hour episode presented extended highlights from numerous
silent films, mostly from the 1910s I think. Each episode had a theme, eg
Westerns, or Monsters and the clips were tinted (and pretty good quality
IIRC).

It hasn't been shown here in the UK since 1983 and I haven't been able to
find it anywhere.

Does anyone remember this? Does anyone know if its available anywhere?

Any help appreciated, thanks.

I have fond memories of the series and it was shown on Australian
Television. I would like to see them again but have no further
information
