Can I download the RHPS music anywhere?

Hey all,

I used to own an audio cassette of RHPS. It has long since gone the way of
the buffalo and I don't even have a cassette player any longer. I used to
listen to the RHPS songs, as I drove my ancient Bronco, between Moscow and
Lewiston, Idaho, back in the 80's. I still associate the smell of pulp
mills with those songs! :) Anyway, short of purchasing a CD, is there
anywhere I can simply download the songs?

Back in '84, I saw the RHPS for the first time. No squirt guns and not more
than half a pound of rice, per person.... Couldn't believe the people who
had seen it "28 times". Even after seeing it the first time, I thought
"What a bunch of dorks". Tick-tock tick-tock "I'd like to see it again
though."

Four years later, I'm in college and the Theater instructor is asking his
students, one-by-one, what their favorite movie is.... I am a bit
worried.... "Rocky Horror Picture Show", I say, as though I am *not* afraid
everyone will laugh.

Silence follows.

It sounds like,

"..."

"Good one." the instructor says, with a mischevious grin... "Seen it six
times" Who knew Idaho would be RHPS-friendly territory? I mean this is a
place where if you named a town You-da-man, the name of the state would make
sense. [remember, you heard it here first]

iTunes is not hip to what we are putting down. They may have millions of
songs and if you want every single uninspired thing ever "created" by, say,
Michael Bolton, you are in luck. If you want Brad/Janet's ballad of love
and faithfulness, whelp, you aren't just out of luck, you have gone right
out the other end of bad luck into something far worse. There aren't even
any "instrumental tributes" or "unplugged homages" or whatever. No
DJHomie's re-mix'z even! I mean what better dance music?!?! :)

Is RHPS a white thing?

I suppose I can see Timewarp on Soul Train. Maybe a backup by the B-52's to
get everybody dancing?

Why not just buy the CD than asking the group for illegal downloads of
stuff that is way commonly available?

Ebay has it cheap, but even Borders or a record store would carry the
original version at a "Nice Price".

I can understand your frustration of not being able to buy it legally
as a download (except for the 2000 Broadway cast), but really, it's not
hard to get.
