RESPOND TO THE POINTS I'VE LAID OUT.

I'll give you an example: Let's say you think the earth is round, and I
think the earth is flat. I make a post like this: "The earth is flat.
There are too many inconsistencies with the 'round earth' theory. The 'flat
earth' theory better explains things like gravity, seasons, and the rising
and setting sun."
Now, a GOOD response to a post like that would be, "Are you crazy? The
world is ROUND. Here are some photographs of the earth from space. It sure
looks round to me. During an eclipse, the earth's shadow on the moon is
round. When a ship sails into the distance, the last thing you see is its'
mast. If you travel north or south, different stars are visible at night.
These things can't happen on a flat earth.".
A USELESS response to a post like that would be, "You just don't
understand.", or "you're missing the point.", or "you seem to have a weak
understading of astronomy.".

I've been getting the latter from you people.
