Hi all

This is a repost, I'm hoping someone can help this time around!

I'm trying to recall the title of this film. I remember seeing it on tv in
my youth. I've searched film databases and google to no avail. Here are the
parts I remember about it.

There are three kids, two boys and a girl, one of the boys is nicknamed
Spider (I think) and the other boy and girl are brother and sister. They
meet Spider and go on an adventure. Where they live there is a lake with an
island in the middle of it with a so called haunted house on it. The three
go exploring there and discover an old lady lives there.

Three "bad men" also travel to the island, i can't remember why but the
three kids cause them trouble and eventually they save the day and the
police catch the men at what they are doing or something along those lines.

At some point the three kids are in a boat and for some reason it sinks and
they end up swimming to shore.

Its one of those straight to video, 'children having an adventure during the
summer holidays' sort of films. Late 70s to late 80s maybe. It isn't and
animated film. It could be an australalian film, but I'm not sure.

It driving me mad can anyone help??

Jack

Don't know what the film is, but I won't need to watch it now, as you've
given away the entire plot!
