anyone know this film?

I'm trying to find a film from long ago but don't know its name

Its involves a heist from a museum
the crooks use a boomerang to trigger an alarm
they kept doing it till the police switched off the alarm thinking it was
faulty

and if in the same film great, if not then the next bit is another film I'm
looking for

an inflatable 15 foot rock replaced an original rock in a museum so it could
be stolen
and no-one was the wiser

what is/or was the film ?
