Are your sure there's no evidence?

If so, why get all hot and bothered?

Or are you a bit worried about a little 'impeacharooni' action?

How else would Bush get 'out of power'?

Hmmmmm......

Well, I guess he shouldn't have done it, then - from his perspective.

None whatsoever,

Because I admire and respect Bush
and the "war criminal" charge is
obscene.

How? The Democrats aren't going
to win the House in November.

To discredit his Presidency to set up
a Democrat President in 2008.

George,
Dubya is a war criminal, history will show this eloquently enough. It's
despicable to invent non-existent WMD's as a pretext to invade a
country because Saddam "insulted" his daddy. Now Americans torture
people, hold them for years without trial or access to an attorney and
many of them have since been proven 100% innocent!

It's a far cry from real American heroes like Audie Murphy, Bataan
death march survivors and your typical WWII GI.

You're proud to be an American when we're doing these types of things?
You can love your country but despise your (current) government. You
still beat the drum about Clinton. So he had encounters with Monica,
who did this hurt? Did he kill 2500 of our boys for NO reason? Had Bush
not demanded this war for his own personal ego, each and every one of
those boys would be over here, alive.

George, if this Iraq war is so holy, how could Bush's two daughters
aren't over there serving? LBJ at least sent his son-in-law over to
'Nam.

As for Chuck Heston, I despise his politics, but I meant him once in a
bookstore in Burbank and he was a very nice gentleman. He was
well-spoken, had a sense of humor about himself and seemed genuinely
interested in the people around him. No Conservative could meet Jane
Fonda and admit that she's probably pretty charming and intelligent in
person... it would just be that tired old "Hanoi Jane" rant. ZZZZZ.....

Ridiculous. (1) He didn't "invent" them,
the intelligence services of the US and
other countries believed he had them
because he had already used them (2)
he certainly had plans to revive them
after the UN inspectors departed. (3)
Rick Santorum justrevealed 500 poison
gas shells that Saddam never destroyed...
I wonder how many more have been
hidden?

I guess you wanted to wait for another
9-11 before we did anything.

We held German and Japanese prisoners
during WW2 for the duration of the
war. Prisoners of war do not get attorneys and trials. And illegal
combatants---i.e terrorists who pretend
to be civilians and do not wear
uniforms---are even less entitled to
attorneys and trials.

You just don't like Republican conservatives. It's all political.

Bush did not "kill' anyone and if Clinton
had been doing his job instead of getting
blowjobs, there might not have 3000
American civilians killed on 9/11,

It is not "holy," it is necessary.

His son in law was already an officer.

That's the whole issue. If Bush were
a lib, you'd be defending the war. (What
did you think of Clinton bombing
Kosovo, by the way?)

Hardly. Fonda has a great deal of
charisma, as does Heston.

But Fonda did go to a country which
was killing Americans and give them
aid and comfort. Heston never did
anything so heinous.

Heston has been very helpful in boosting
charities in the LA area (prior to his
Alzheimers) and he always was gracious
with film nonproit events, such as
those at the DeMille Barn.

As far as Bush being a "war criminal,'
you're a brain-dead Republican-hating
leftist...you must miss Tom Moran
dearly.

Regarding Clinton and Bush, they are either both at fault or neither. The
memo about the attack being dismissed was under GW's watch.

Do you support Clinton bombing Kosovo?

I don't get Jane at all, but Charlton Heston is a class act and will remain
so despite the terrible disease he is enduring, right up until the end.
Even though I know it's coming, his passing is going to be a difficult one
for me.

You're wrong. That memo did not
warn or predict that bin Laden planned
to attack the US. It was an historical
summary of past actions of bin Laden.

What hurt most was Clinton's deputy
Attorney General Jamie Gorelick
writing a memo preventing the FBI
from communicating with the CIA.

Yes, but I think that it should have
been done by a NATO invasion rather
than indiscriminately from the air.

No, I honestly don't.

I am glad he no longer posts here. He was a blight.

(I don't miss Connie either. The
group has developed where it can
function without her)

Nope! What hurt most was Bush and co.
disregarding the warnings from Clinton, Clarke, and everyone else
saying Al Queda was America's No. 1 threat.

They instead, from day one focussed on Iraq.

One thing you can say, they're consistent -
they focussed on Iraq to the exclusion of Al Queda before 9-11
and that's exactly what they've done after 9-11 as well.

Dunno, but you'd be against it for your political partisan reasons.

You really can't stop hurling your infantile 'insults', huh?
Must be the result of the subconscious knowledge that your 'points'
really can't stand on their own. Else, why the panicked grade-school
bullshit?

Clinton gets info they're planning to attack on Millenium Eve.
Pulls in the FBI, CIA, etc - they 'shake the trees'.
The terrorists are caught at the border.
The plot is foiled.

Bush gets a memo that AlQueda's planning to attack.
He says to the CIA guy who gives him the briefing: "Alright, you've
covered your ass,"
Then he goes fishing.
9-11 occurs.

Ho,ho, ho....meanwhile, during Clinton's
term, Al Qaeda rampaged at will, tried
to blow up the WTC, the Cole, an
embassy, the Khobar Towers....if they
knew al Qaeda was the No 1 threat,
why didn't they attack the bases in
Afghanistan instead of impotently
shooting cruise missiles at tents?

Then why did Sec of State Rice say it did? I heard her say so myself.

I actually forgive the President of such a slip-up, despite the outcome. He
certainly did not *want* this to happen, for crissakes. I don't forget that
he is a human being. Just like Clinton getting his head blown.

Y'see I don't jump on every act of a person with whom I disagree, nor do I
defend every act of a person with whom I do.

I don't think she said that. She said
just the opposite. The transcript is in
Coulter's book.

I disagree that it was his "slip up." The
whole system "slipped up" Bush had
been President less than a year.

She knew her Chaplin, but I got sick
of her exasperation over having to
"cope" with differing opinions...not
to mention her personal rancor towards
me in particular.
