if you were held hostage and were given a chance between having a
firecracker go off in your ass or having 2 of your teeth pulled out,
which would you choose?

Firecrackers go off in all our asses about 14 times a day,
every day, right? What's the big deal?

I've had 2(?) wisdom teeth pulled. It was years ago, but I
vaguely recall the dental bill. We've been hostages a long time.
Not much of a torture chamber here, not in my eyes; Halloween
is my birthday. I eat this little tame stuff up.

Speaking from experience, I would choose the firecracker.

When I was a kid, we were setting off firecrackers with my parents out
in the garage/outside, and I wasn't supposed to do it myself, and I
did, I had a bunch of firecrackers in my hand, and lit them, because I
wanted to see it go off so bad, but then I realized, I can't throw
them, I'll get in trouble, so I had to hold it, and it went off in my
hand, and I had to just stand there and not make a single "ouch" (huge
understatement) so they wouldn't realize, and I wouldn't get in
trouble.

It wasn't that bad.

I choose the firecracker.

What about setting off firecrackers in your mouth?
Two birds, one stone.
