Post subject: Whatever happened to all the Chaplin chicks?
Archived from groups: alt>movies>chaplin (more info?)

Going through the arhives of this group, there used to be a lot of
Charlie-loving females who rhapsodized about his cute butt and other
physical attributes. What happened to all these women, have they moved
on to presumably greener pastures? (Can't possibly think what those
might be).

Back in '99, 2000 and beyond there were loads of great
discussions/arguments about Charlie's beauty and sexyness. If there are
any Chaplin chicks out there lurking, please come back. No one has
discussed the weighty topic of pressing the pause button on your DVD
player during pivotal bathing suit scenes in The Adventurer and The
Cure. A recent assemblage of female Chaplin fans agreed that he was
most adorable in "Carmen" and least adorable in "King of New York,"
though I think he reached his nadir of uncuteness in "The Professor."

This is a crucial element of Chapliniana that has been mysteriously
neglected lately.
