Need some help here

Since there isnt a SciFi section here I figured horror would fit. There is a group of people on a ship in deep space, something happens (dont remember, it has been years), and there are radiation leaks. The pilot is trapped in the cockpit, food and water are scarce, and there is a midget with a prosthetic hand who amputates someones leg... yea I'm a big help I know. I remembered watching it as a kid so the fine details seem a bit lacking. Any help would be much appreciated.
