Take a look at this lineup. Aside from maybe a handful
of movies, Almost NONE of these deserve to be seen at a theatre.
It's DVD or bust and the movie industry knows it.

Look on the bright side. At least there's no "Serenity" on the list.

You guys have to be kidding me--- movies like Narnia and King Kong HAVE
to be seen on the big screen at least once. Those films are made to be
seen in theaters-- in fact, they probably lose a little something on
your tv.

Oh I see; We have to see the movies to determine Hollywood is still
in a huge slump? Even the most vociferous of the Hollywood boosters
is saying Oct/Nov was loaded with movies that no one wanted to see.
Why should the next six months suddenly be any different from the last
year?

No, I'm asking if you've seen enough of them to make your
assertion that "almost NONE of these deserve to be seen at a
theatre".

Regardless of what you think of the Oct/Nov crop of movies,
*your* opinion of the quality of the movies you listed means
absolutely nothing unless you've seen them. And even then,
it's your opinion, not a fact.

Are you kidding? Rich doesn't go to see the stuff that's out NOW,
and he comments on it endlessly. Someone could write a less
predictable bot.

I have to admit that I watch way more TV than I do movies now.
The writing is generally alot better. When some movie comes along
like "Crash" it gets over-praised to high heaven because critics and
movie-goers as SO deprived of anything resembling good writing.

It's unfortunate that it doesn't sublimate viewers.
