iPower batteries.

I have been noting the comments from users regarding low voltage and
failure, as of late.

The reply from the factory is that the production has not been
altered as of the last upgrades almost a year ago. Same components,
same assembly and same testing. Each battery is given a small charge
and the voltage tested.
I have requested a production report, and should have it soon.
As it took a couple of years to get the batteries up to the quality
and capacity of the 500mAh version, it would not make sense to alter
the formula.
The returned batteries are being sent to the factory for testing. The
plan is to look for common points of failure and upgrade any
reoccuring problem components.

Although the dud rate seems very low 1% to 1.5 %, some failures seem
to be in groups, 4 out of 12 or 8 out of 20. We don't have a complete
picture yet so this may prove to be the nature of the beast, but still
this seems odd, and we are eager to get the failed batteries back for
testing. We should have a report on the returned batteries in a couple
of weeks.

As soon as we have some answers we will post them.

Please send your failed batteries to:

iPower Corporation
713 W. Duarte Road #G-177,
Arcadia, CA 91007 U.S.A.

for replacement.

I welcome any feedback or concerns.

Thanks for your support.

Hi Oleg.

Each battery has a serial number and we can use that to isolate
the product run.

Thanks,

Richard

Richard , may be better to put serial number on each battery to check if
there are serial problems
