I'm a newbie when it comes to making short films. So the question is,
How do i get music into my short film?
I have a scene in my film where the character puts a cd into a stereo
and pushes play.

well, if you are working digitally, lets say in adobe premier, you
would import a music file, drag it down into the audio track below the
audio track of your media. Then set your levels and poof! youre done!
