Just got in the Masters of Cinema Series disc of "Scandal" and in it
Eureka has a catalog of forthcoming titles.
Faust (1926) is listed as coming out April 2006 and featuring for the
first time, Murnau's favored German domestic version (up until now only
export versions have been released), hi-def transfer and comparison of
the domestic/export versions.
The Complete Buster Keaton Short Films 1917-1923 (4 discs-April 2006)
contains all Arbuckle/Keaton shorts as well as all the Keaton solo
shorts all supposedly remastered with, for the first time, progressive
transfers.
Seeing as Eureka has done such great work with their previous titles
(The Last Laugh, Metropolis, Asphalt, Spione, The Holy Mountain,
Michael, Sunrise) I will have my $$$ at the ready for these titles.
