| Anyone listened to the new sennheiser MKH 8050,8040,8020, modular
series.....same sound as their traditional 1 piece counterparts??
Anyone heard whispers of a new DPA shotgun??

There was a thread here just after NAB about the new DPA short
shotgun. The comments were very favorable considering the noise on the
show floor. Price was around $2k with delivery later this year.

All DPA mics are pre-polarized.

Yes. Those too.
The only ones that aren愒 are large diaphragm-series AFAIK.

more on Pin-Mics - Just a few notes on the Pin-mic operation, if you need to reduce the input volume to match your transmitter, you can place a 1k resistor between the black lead and shield (signal to earth) and that will give you a 6db reduction or a higher value if need....
