old movie about a ring that tells the future

movie from the fifties. scene one: person buys a ring from a shop.
the ring has an 'x' on it. if the person wearing it sees an 'x' on the
forehead of a person, that person will die. another scene has a train
platfrom with children getting on a train. the person wearing the ring
sees the 'x' on the foreheads of the children. he tries to stop the
train, but it pulls out of the station and a moment later you hear the
train crash.
last scene: an elderly couple are in their home. it is during a war
and the sirens are going off. the one wearing the ring sees the 'x' on
the forehead of his spouse. she takes the ring and sees the 'x' on his
forehead. they decide to fool the ring and not go to the shelter. a
large explosion. you assume they are killed and the ring is destroyed.
