how to get into movies ??

Dear group,

my friend has a 14 year old daughter who is a bookworm, acts in school plays
and is mad keen on movies.

Can anyone here advise or point me in the direction of information about the
business - presumably starting with how to become an "extra".
Maybe also which choices she should make in her education .....

Hey there!

The best way to do it is to check out for local talent agencies... I am not
sure of any in Bristol, but if you look in your local yellow pages there
will probably be some... Contact them. They may ask for some portfolio pics
or a showreel... but just depends on what they are loking for...

If u are lucky u'll contact an agency who is looking for extras that match
the description of ur friends daughter... and they can hire her!
