So, I just got that Polar Lights 16-inch G'54 kit off Ebay (damn this thing
is huge), and since I've put together precisely *one* model kit in the last
11 years, I really have no idea on how to paint the thing without making it
look like a five year old painted. Anyone here have descriptions of
techniques, terminology, materials etc.? And yes, I've read Stan Hyde's
articles in G-Fan, but those are aimed towards kit-builders who already know
what they're doing. I'm only an amateur.

Barring that, anyone want recommend me so I can join that Yahoo! Godzilla

Heh, since I decided spur of the moment to jump back into kit building, I've
stocked up on enough kits to keep me busy for the next, oh, year or so... an
old Airfix sabre jet here, these Bandai Ultra-kaiju kits (Gomola & Pegila) I
got for real cheap from a local Japanese toy store, an Imai "Legioss"
3-kits-in-one set, and the big Polar Lights job.

Anyone got an exact scale on that?
