Any working low cost solution for feeding t-power mic from phantom 48v
preamp.

I was thinking about to modify my AKG B18B 18v phantombox to work as a
T-Power AB 12v powersupply. any schematics, ideas?

regards,
Jukka

The circuit shown in P48t122 needs a minimum of 12.6V of
"phantom power" because of the 12V shunt regulator provided
by the zener diode (1N5242B) The circuit would work fine
with 18v "phantom".

But if you are going to build it into an adapter like the AKG B18,
you don't need either of the 4K7 ohm resistors as shown. You
only need a single (~2K5) resistor directly from the +18V supply
to the top (un-grounded side) of the zener and the filter capacitor
in parallel with it.
