I like Silent Hill, too. But Parasite Eve was probably the first horror
game I played and I like it best. I don't think it made it to PS2, just
PS1. It had one of the best intros at that time. Great scene with an opera
house catching on fire and bodies falling from the balcony in flames.
I checked out Condemned on the XBOX360 but I could only play it for about 10
minutes. Excellent graphics, but didn't play it long nough to check out the
spook factor.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've never played the BioHazard games. I did
like Silent Hill #1 but never seemed to get into #2 very much. Check out
Parasite Eve is you want a "hidden gem."

I liked the first one because it seemed original, but the second just seemed
like more of the same. I live in Japan so it's hard to get games that are
in English and I bought SH2 becasue it was in English. Kinda got old
running up and down the stairs of a hospital over and over again to go into
the same rooms heh.
