What was the problem with Famous Monsters #243?

On Ray Ferry's Famous Monsters website it says:

"We've finally gotten past all the problems that plaqued the mailing of FM
#243. Those of you who regularly check this news page are aware that an
attempt to sabotage the mailing was made by persons associated with uncle
you-know-who in a last ditch effort to disrupt the magazine. That problem
has been dealt with. However, to be on the safe side, we will keep the
actual shipping dates of FM #244 under wraps. After it has been mailed and
we have received delivery confirmation from our checkpoints we will notify
subscribers by personal email. Single copies will be available from our
ONLINE STORE once subscriber and store copies have been shipped. Current FM
subscribers can click here for detailed information on what happened with
#243."

You have to have a FM Club Discount Code to be able to read it, which I
don't have. Does anybody know what the story is on this?se "subscriber"
(lower case, no quotes) as the user name and your current FM Club Discount
Code as the password.
