Hi all,

What's on your list of movies you'd like to see get an official, uncut
DVD release? Here are some of mine:

The Shuttered Room
Death Weekend (aka House by the Lake)
The Green Slime
Rituals (aka The Creeper)
The Initiation of Sarah (1978)
The Night God Screamed
The Unseen (1981)
Silent Scream (1980)

I heard that Rituals recently got an uncut region 2 DVD release. Anyone
seen it? How's the quality?

The only ones that immediately spring to mind for me are:

Face of Fire
Ben
The Boy Who Cried Werewolf

I remember "Scarecrows" fondly. I'm surprised too that it hasn't had a
dvd release.
Other titles I'm still waiting for are:-

"House on Straw Hill". This was promised a year or more ago, but has
failed to materialize.

"Mom" by Patrick Rand. A masterpiece, imo, and no idea why it has never
been put to dvd.

"Scum of the Earth". Would like to see this one, along with the
original vhs cover art!

"Ghost Story". aka "Madhouse Mansion".

Also would be nice to get a decent release of "The Jekyll and Hyde
Portfolio" along with original cover art, instead of the bootleg copy
currently in circulation.

Isn't this available on a double bill with The Defilers from Something
Weird?

That's the earlier, Herschell Gordon Lewis movie. I was referring to
S.F. Brownrigg's "Scum of the Earth" aka "Poor White Trash 2". I
thought Something Weird owned the rights to this one also, but I'm not
100% certain about it.

"The Defilers From Something Weird" would make a great movie title.

It`s real bad quality apparently. Unless there`s another film called
Scarecrows that I don`t know about it appears Blackhorse entertainment is
releasing it in february...
