Can anyone recommend a good, reliable source of quality grip equipment
for purchase (not rental), either online, in NYC, or in Miami? I have
seen visualproducts.com but am preferably looking for a good source I
can visit in NYC or Miami. Mainly I need to buy a dolly and tracks.

Thanks.

Jaxon

Any major grip house in NYC should be able to help you out. There are only a
few manufacturers of dolly gear, so there's not that many choices honestly. If
you explain your price range and needs then we could give some specific
reccomendations. Otherwise talk to Hotlights, Ceco or Barbizon Electric.

For lighting and consumables, I find B&H beats Barbizon.
They don't have the more specialized stuff Mitch mentions, but you're
probably not looking for that.

I don't think you'll find any dolly options at B&H. Maybe a small jibarm or
two, but no dollies with track.
