Hi. I have this problem of recording audio from my stereo to the t43
ibm laptop. The problem is the internal microphone, that picks up
sounds externally and boosts up the volume and therefore messes up the
entire recording.
How do I record audio onto the laptop at an acceptable volume and
effectively. I am sure there must be a way to record external audio
(from a source such as an LP or stereo) onto the t43 laptop without
having to face this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Err, turn off the internal mic?

Start, Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, Volume Control.

Options, Properties, Recording, Microphone - mute it...

1. This is not the right newsgroup for this question.
2. Use the "Volume Control" function of MS Windows to select
your desired input, and NOT the undesired one (microphone)
3. Most laptop computers have no stereo line input, you must
use an external device that connects with USB, etc.
