Desperately trying to remember the name of a film from a few years ago.....

the plot involved a photographer who took pictures and somehow captured a
"white spot" in his pictures, by doing this he stopped the person in the
film from dying because this "white spot" was that thing that was their
lifeforce.

Sorry to be so vague! the plot is similar to this, I may have the details
wrong, any ideas??????? LONG SHOT.

Hi there.

This sounds like it could be a 1972 British film called The Asphyx, starring
Robert Powell, Robert Stephens and Jane Lapotaire and directed by Peter
Newbrook.

I think it's now on DVD, athough you should be aware there are apparently
two different versions of the film knocking about.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

Iain

Yeah I've seen it too. But I don't know the name of it.
But I think that it might be an episode of X-files. But I'm not sure.
