Number 1. I do not care what measure of "credibility" you give me or that it
"has lost [me] any reason [you] thought [I] might had'"- Diogo.
Number 2. I admit being a little to agressive in the last post. I humbly
apologize to Gavin or anyone else I offended - it was uncalled for.
Number 3. There is a tendency to overly critisize others on this site. It
would seem to me that the intuitive, intelligent and creative people that
enjoy the Matrix (and not simply the pyrotechnics) as a philosophical
supernova, would present a little more thought than to attack or critisize
posters in here, since from my view there has not been a lot of posts in
here.
Number 4. I am trying to present philosophical and real-world implications
and warnings of the movie. I asked a simple question, and did not imply
that the censorship (or glitch in my server) had anything to do with a
"conspiracy" - dispite the nature of my essays.
Hey, let's try not to out-smart each other on this NG (with wise cracks) and
start decoding this thing, huh! I can assure you this movie was a "warning"
in code. I am totally convinced of that.
I am currently working on the fourth part of the esay. And my friends, I
have not even scratched the surface. Please bear with me.
And please - if you are interesting in this at all please sound off! It
helps my motivation. Again I apologize for over-reacting. But if I am not
appreciated, or wanted, I will go peacefully into the Matrix, LOL.
peace >> Stay informed about: A response with regard to criticism |

Here's my recommendation:
Forget what you said, what they said, how you reacted, how they reacted,
etc. Just comment on the *subject matter* of the group, and don't ever make
any personal attacks. It's not like anyone here actually knows anyone else.
Just focus on the Matrix comments and if someone doesn't like what you have
to say, who cares? It doesn't change your life any and it doesn't hurt
anyone. In fact, it might actually help. >> Stay informed about: A response with regard to criticism |

JPM,
Thanks for the voice of reason. I think you are the only sensible person on
this NG. If you want more of this I'll email it to you. Just post you want
more and I'll sned it. Since day one this stuff has been attacked. This
seems more like the cynical support group than the Matrix movie NG. I was
trying to be creative with regard to the Matrix. I wrongfully assumed that
all who enjoyed the movie would be intelligent, sensitive, inquistive, and
had an open mind, I was wrong. Man, too much cynicism and stupidity here.
I'm out. peace.

There are many more reasonable voices than mine. Either they left this group
a long time ago, or they just don't speak up. Then there are those who speak
up occasionally *specifically* to antagonize others. You can't escape those
kinds of people on the internet, so you're better off just ignoring them...
or being calm in the face of their insults, because that annoys them even
more and you look better because of it. :-P

A lot of times, that's exactly what this is, because people who liked the
movies don't stick around. There are so many people who really hate parts of
the movies too much that still stick around here. I don't get it, but it is
a public forum.

Yeah, you'd think that would be a safe assumption. Sorry, but the world can
be disappointing at random moments. Get used to it, and find a calmer way of
reacting to it!
Also, I recommend the movie WAKING LIFE. >> Stay informed about: A response with regard to criticism |

Joe,
JPM is right. There are tons of reasonable minds out there, they are just
waiting for the right time to speak their mind. Bravery to speak out against
the system is all but lost, couarge to stand still when everyone else
continues to march to someone elses drum has faded. The followers are taking
over key positions in order to tell others that following is good, and
patroitic. To do otherwise is unAmerican.
