so yesterday I watched 11:11. Its starts out pretty cool, and spooky....
the ending was a bit lame, and the actress who plays the main character
looks like she's about to burst out crying any second, all the time, which I
felt was pretty annoying. BUT, the stort was cool, and it did keep me
watching.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Ok, so here come the spoilers LOL
It starts pretty cool. A young girl is witness to her parents being murdered
by some escaped outlaws. She has a (ghost?) friend, another little girl, who
remains her friend the rest of her life.
Now from the start it's obvious this 'friend' is up to no good. Anyway, the
(now grown-up) girl seems to have very high ESP and psychic powers, and
suffers from a depression. She is seeing things, like her dead mom.
It turns out that it is all a preparations of sorts, for the day of the
apocalypse, 11-11, which will be 2011. This is fun, because on this date
something actually is supposed to happen. But back to the film.
This day the gates of heaven and hell will open. It turns out her 'friend'
is a demon (?, at least that is what I made of it), and she makes sure
everyone who treats the forementioned girl bad, dies.
I won't tell the ending, to keep things exciting in case you'd want to see
this film. The ending is very, well, weird really, didn't make much sense.
But the rest of the movie was good enough.....for a rental LOL ;-)
