Yesterday I watched 'Domion, prequel to the exorcist', not to be confused
with the widely released 'Exorcist - the beginning', which is sort of a
remake of Dominion.
Anyway, 'the beginning' is better than 'dominion', but the storyline is
really the same. Only the settings are different, and the special effects
are way worse....
If you have already seen 'the beginning', don't even bother with 'Dominion'.

eh?!
i thought the story of the 2 films was totally different - really!
one had hyenas and a posessed woman, the other... had other things
altogether!

Yeah, Dominion had hyena's, but they didn't play very much of a role in the
movie. In both movies a boy is possessed, both movies have similar endings,
both movies have Father Merrin go through the same stuff in the war, etc.
Some minor details differ, but they are basically the same :-)
