I finally got around to watching Pan's Labyrinth. Though it's not a horror,
it's definitely a must see.
It's about a mother and daughter who move to the countryside, during war.
The mother has remarried a captain in the army, and is pregnant.
The little girl however is the main character, and she starts off seeing a
fairy...I could tell more, but that would spoil it.
The end is very sad and emotional, but beautiful. It's definitely a movie
worth watching.

I've been seeing nothing but good about this film. I think Del Torro
does some of his best work when he's outside the Hollywood system.

In style, how close is this movie to "The Devil's Backbone"?

So in styling how does it compare to "The Devil's Backbone"?

It's going to be in a limited release in the states on Dec 29. So I
don't know if I will even be able to see it in the theaters here.

review 11:11 the gate - so yesterday I watched 11:11. Its starts out pretty cool, and spooky.... the ending was a bit lame, and the actress who plays the main character looks like she's about to burst out crying any second, all the time, which I felt was pretty annoying. BUT,...

review satanic - So I watched 'satanic' last night. It's a B-movie, with a nice plot, not too scary though. It's about a girl who is in an accident, and her face has to be re-structured so to speak, and then she starts seeing things... She is actually seeing her dead..
