I have successfully managed to rescue a couple of rycotes that was broken,
and after some experimenting with a couple glues, I have come to rely on
super epoxy and arm the broken place with some synthetic fiber. I sand the
area around the crack and apply the epoxy, then a take a piece of cloth cut
to the right size and let it be soaked in epoxy so that it will act as
reinforcement. Has worked really well, just make sure that you donšt get the
layer to thick, or it won't fit the handle as well as before.
Good luck!
