I have three 50ft Super 8 reels that I want to join together. The
purpose of this is to have one continuous large reel for transfer to DV
format. The end of the first film needs to be joined to the white
lead-in of the second and so on.

I have lost my tape splicer long ago unfortunately. Is there a manual
way I can line up the holes on the film and stick the ends together.
It's only for a one time pass through the projector and it seems a
shame to buy a new splicer just to do this. I'm happy to buy a few
splicing tapes though, if necessary.

Thanks
Pandora

Think that the only way is to fork out for a splicer. Cement ones are
cheap but messy.
