It appears as though Warners intends to release "He Who Gets Slapped"
as part of a second Lon Chaney volume, but no date is set, and no
formal announcements have been made. For the past several years,
Warner has been holding chats with the Home Theater Forum about new
and upcoming titles, and the possibility of a second Chaney set was
mentioned in February 2006. Other prospective titles include "Tell it
to the Marines", both versions of "The Unholy Three" and "two others",
per the transcript. By the time of the 2007 chat a year later, Warner
mentioned they were working on a Tod Browning documentary. All HTF
chats, including those I've referenced here, can be found at
http://www.hometheaterforum.com/chat/chat.html

NOTHING is planned for release in the near future according to my
contact at WB Home Video.

They did release HE WHO on Laser Disc, along with THE UNKNOWN and the
silent UNHOLY THREE some years back.

DVD Beaver lists the set as an upcoming release to include "The Unholy
Three/The Unholy Three/Tell It to the Marines/He Who Gets Slapped/Tod
Browning doc."

Michael Blake would likely have better info on this than DVD Beaver so
if he says it's not upcoming it probably isn't.

Alas.
