Post subject: small dc powered D2A converter

looking for small D2A converter ,24/48 , fixed -10dbv output is fine , ext
dc powered ( 7-18 preferred)
I was already set on the micrortrack , but this one doesn't do it

I still have a "Dac In The Box" (aka "DITB") that was a very nice
sounding D to A (Toslink or SPDIF) and ran on DC. Ebay? It's pretty
small, but took a good deal of DC.

My Sony MD takes optical SPDIF on a 1/8 plug & outputs analog to line
level...

living in Switzerland, I know that Sonosax makes one.
But now it's a little old box.
16 to 20 bit, 32kHz to 48kHz is now realy old spec.

Putting a PL on a powered speaker - These past few days I've been sitting out side doing Special Events coverage of the Pope. We were working for ABC News. Has anyone taken the PL feed from a Sat truck and fed it into a powered speaker? This way we don't have to sit there with headsets....
