Why should I spend money on the Quadrology? I have the previous DVD
box set and I have seen each movie at most twice each one of them.

Well.. No-one is actually forcing you to buy it.

If you don;t *want* to.. don;t!

If you you *do* however, you will get the new cut of alien, the much
extended and improved Alien 3 and the slightly extended Alien Res.

As well as new docs, commentaries, etc etc etc.

It's a nice package.

I had the special collectors set from a few years ago and had to sell it. If
I had it now, I probably wouldn't have bought the Quadrilogy. Probably just
would've rented them individually off of Netflix. But since I do have
them....

There is a wealth of material in addition to what was already presented in
the first boxed set. The interviews seem to be a bit more frank,
particularly with Alien3. As a fan, the studio needs to know that being
honest with the failures of the creative process doesn't make me want to see
the film any less. It actually makes it all more intriguing. Having just
finished my first run through of the Special Edition of Alien3, i'm glad to
see that I picked up on quite a few things I never noticed in previous
viewings.

Yes, but you did hear the story that this documentary had to be cut by
about half an hour shortly before the release, and that producer Charles de
Lauzirika pulled back his name? There seems to be some sort of curse about
"Alien 3". At least it sounds like "history repeating".

I think what you really ought to do is save up the money that you would ideally
have to pay for the Quadrilogy and burn it or spend it on cheap beer, big
bottles of vodka and porn magazines, or give it to a beggar in the street so he
might be able to buy himself some drugs

You misspelled "Yeah, it's a shame I'm stuck with the R1 box". :)

You mistyped... "I wish I had the R1 box!"
