super 8 projector- bulb problem

Hi,

I have a movector 4000 super 8 projector and recently the bulb blew. I
replaced it with an osram EFR bulb and although the projector runs the
bulb still doesn't light up. it doesn't blow it just doesn't coem on at
all ..... has anyone got any ideas ???

I'm not sure.
Did the old bulb really blow are the filaments broken inside - or could it be that the projector isn't providing voltage to the
bulb.
Does the new bulb have the same pins as the old one, and is it a proper replacement for the original bulb.
Unfortunately, I'm not familiour with projector bulbs but I saw that there were no other replies.

Have you tested the bulb with a ohmmeter? Do you have access to one or
someone who has one? If you need help, I can walk you through the
process...
