It doesn't overheat on a desk but it does on the bed when it's not moved around even if the vent is clear. The area of the prossessor gets too hot to hold !
I have nothing running in the background, ever! My http://www.laptopspark.com (netbook) .It overheats when I render some monster scene and on some video games but it does when I watch a movie on the bed too.
My first guess is dust.. I bought it two years ago (or a lil less) and it was serviced one year (or a lil less) ago when they said the motherboard was fuсked! and replaced it with a new one. do you suppose they cleaned the dust as well?
