Hi there
I'm a Danish guy working on my final exam project. My group is creating a
multimedia production which lets the user experience the Kursk submarine
disaster from inside the hull, just after the explosions.
Our initial queries show that people (especially male) like to experience
real life disasters (such as Titanic, Hindenburg, Kursk, even WW2, first
hand, in traditional media (eg. movies and games).
But we need to find out, why this is so. What is so special about "reliving"
a disaster up close in a game or a movie, and does it have to be authentic?
Any thoughts about this would be appreciated.
Best regards,
Ole Steiness
