I wondered when I first saw A1 if the SJ was the fourth stage of the alien
life cycle.

so, other than making the connection that it must be the fourth stage, probably
because it was biomechanic looking just like the main creature of the Alien
movie, was there something that specifically led you to wondering this?

I don't see too much of a problem really, but I think that the alien creature
would require further assistance to get it to such a mature stage and maybe
function as a part of a spaceship

I've just read new issue Fangoria and well Dan O'Bannon is interviewed and he
suggested to the people making Alien Vs Predator that the Predator ought to be
the fourth stage of the alien's life cycle. He seems to have almost liked AVP.
